With the intensity of the vocational education, the Teaching methods of“Program instructed”and“Task Motivated”, have been widely accepted. Mathematicsis a very important basic. Some questions about math teaching must be put forward,like how to combine the theory with the practice and how to integrate the mathteaching to the professional subjects. In this paper, based on the humanistic,construction and situated cognition theory, by the combination of the teaching methodof “Program instructed” and “Task Motivated”, we proposed the “Program instructedand Task Motivated teaching method” and studied the application of this method inthe real classes.In this paper, the102students from Neijiang Railway Mechanical School ofrailway Signal professional are my research object. First, we investigates the currentsituation of secondary vocational education and explores the necessity and feasibilityof mathematics curriculum reform in secondary vocational school though literaturestudy and questionnaires. Then, on the basis of the humanistic psychology,constructivist and situated cognition psychology theory, I studied the psychologicalcharacteristics of students, combined with the student situation and the teaching status,proposed the program of teaching reform, namely the implantation of “Program andTask-instructed” method. Next, we constructed the “Program and Task-instructed”method, and explored the implementation steps of the teaching methods and designedthe teaching content of secondary vocational mathematics (first grade). then textbooksof math were adapted to the students and established after-school test database.Finally, we described the designation of the railway signal professional’s teachingcontent of trigonometric function, function and set of the mathematics textbooks, andthen we launched the " Program and Task-instructed " teaching practice program, atlast the teaching practices were evaluated to make the teaching process a summaryand reflection..According to the information obtained by the process of teaching practice, thetraditional way of teaching mathematics cannot meet the requirements of vocationalstudents in a modern society. Vocational teaching mathematics curriculum needs to bereformed from the aspects of the teaching staff, teaching methods, and assessmentsystem and so on.
