Home-school cooperation is a topic that can always triggers new insights. How to strengthen the cooperation between school and home has attracted a lot of attentions from education circles all around the world and becomes an important content of school reform, as well as a trend in today's education development. In order to lucubrate the home-school cooperation, the author chose Shanghai New Hongqiao elementary school for case study, tried to generalize its experiences, make it a model and give some suggestions for developing according to its existing problems.In the thesis, primarily, the author sorted and analyzed the research home and abroad. By comparing the theory and practice of home-school cooperation home and abroad, the author found that although we have achieved some success in home-school cooperation, we are still at the beginning of home-school cooperation. It's low-level in theory, and there is no complete system, the oversea mature systems and forms are worth learning and researching.Combining the research from document study and the home-school cooperation case study in New Hongqiao elementary school, the author talked about the related home-school cooperation theories, described the current situation for home-school cooperation of New Hongqiao elementary school based on the theories. Highlighted the typical home-school form - "Story Mom" and some of the activities related to this, discussed the reasons why New Hongqiao elementary school was successful in home-school cooperation.In conclusion, the author gives some future development proposals for the shortcomings of the current home-school cooperation, and the idea of this thesis's follow-up study.
