In order to further develop students creative spirit and practical ability, to promote overall development of students and the healthy development of personality, Shanghai Secondary Curriculum Reform broke the original three plates of course structure, created a new one which composed the base course, expansion course and research course.Through this survey of the expansion course, I can show some real and specific problems with the current response, from one side reveals the implementation of Shanghai Secondary Curriculum Reform. Give suggestions to the physical course construction.The survey includes interviews of six physics teachers. The survey includes student surveys used a self-compiled questionnaires at three high schools. I used the chance to practice in the Middle School Affiliated ECUST and made it as a case of the present study.Through investigation and research, I found that the physical expansion course is not satisfactory in many respects in current times. Some teachers have not paid enough attention to the expansion course. Limit expansion course was ignored whole. The positive impact for students was limited. The building of school-based course is not easy.many problems of the physical expansion course can be attributed to the pressure of examinations which students, teachers, schools are faced with, and this pressure, fundamentally speaking, comes from the single assessment of our current system, that is a result of college entrance examination system. This is said that many of the problems of the course can not be completely resolved in the next period of time.
