In order to accommodate with the development of society, the new revolution of junior school curriculum has lasted for 7 years. Since 2008, all junior schools in Shanghai started to take experiment of curriculum revolution. The latest revolution aims at basic education theory and education modes, at the same time tring to carry forward quality education under the new education theory. And teaching material is the most fundamental, the most important, the most representative and the most essential curriculum resource. This article is built on junior physics education. From the view of a junior Physics teacher, comparing and studying the two Shanghai Junior Physics teaching material before and behind revolution longitudinally, fully and thoroughly by teaching material comparing method; gathering and analyzing statistics method and inquiring method. Hope it will help to consummate curriculum standards and teaching materials.In nowadays, at the trend of educational development, neither commenting advntages or disadvantage of education modes, nor sifting good educational contents from the bad, comparing education intends to dig out the advantages of two teaching materials to service development of education and teaching. To some extent, the relation between two teaching materials is inheritance and development. In brief, the late teaching material is fit in with social development. It is the result based on concept which is more scientific and more firm in comparation with the traditional teaching material.
