The physics curriculum standard of junior high school in our country points out that improving students' scientific literacy is one of the goals of compulsory education.The four major themes of scientific literacy are scientific knowledge,scientific inquiry process,scientific cognitive style,science,technology,society,environment and human beings.STS(science,technology,society)is one of the themes of scientific literacy,The position of STS in physics curriculum standard is very important.In our country,the teaching of middle school curriculum centered on teaching materials,the implementation of STS education is one of the important functions of teaching materials,The composition and use of the STS education content in the teaching material directly affects the quality of STS Education.Therefore,this study based on the junior high school physics curriculum standards for STS education requirements,A comparative analysis of the content of STS in different editions of junior high school physics textbooks.On the one hand,whether the STS content in the junior high school PEP physics textbooks has reached the requirements of the STS education in the junior middle school physics curriculum standards in China,On the other hand,from the two aspects of the content of STS education in physics textbooks and presentation reveals the design features of STS Education,In order to obtain the characteristics of the development of STS education content in junior middle school physics textbooks in china,to provide guidance for teachers to train students' scientific literacy,and to provide reference for the compilation and revision of Physics Textbooks in china.This paper is divided into five parts.The introduction introduces the background and significance of this study,research questions,research methods,research content and research purposes,It also introduces the concept,definition and direction of STS education.In the second part,Since the reform and opening up,we have made a comparative analysis of the nature of curriculum standards,the basic concepts of curriculum and the content of STS education in junior middle school physics curriculum standards.The third part is the comparative analysis of the STS content of the junior high school physics textbook in the five editions of the people's Education Press.The first part is the comparative analysis of the content of STS education in junior middle school physics teaching material Since the development of STS education in our country,to Understand the classification trend of STS educational content in textbooks;The second is the comparison of the presentation of STS education content in the junior high school physics teaching materials;Finally,the paper analyzes the column setting of the STS content in the junior high school physics textbook.The fourth part is the investigation and analysis of the STS subject teaching in junior high school PEP physics textbook.This paper designs a questionnaire for students and teachers to understand and apply the STS content in the junior high school physics textbook,Conduct an investigation and analyze the results of the survey.The fifth part is the conclusion and enlightenment.The results of this study are summarized,and the problems in the research and the problems in the future are put forward.
