Chinese martial arts have a profound long history. To 80s of last century, China excavate 129 sorts of quan that have a order source ,clear theory, unique style and so on .But with the development of society, especially the impact of western culture, enable the wushu have western culture . And have some more names like"the western wushu","the simple boxing and kicking","useless attracting". They lose the deep Chinese traditional cultural. Chinese wushu have the attacking and long history of training, if lose its environment it will exterminate. To meet the great situation in the international environment, traditional wushu gradually become to high, difficulty, beauty, develop new. It was put on a "magic spell", traditional martial arts have to survive in the cracks. So for protecting Chinese traditional wushu, we must take some counter measures to it.The routine of traditional martial arts have a positive significance to wushu. But martial arts contest is the lever to promote the development of traditional wushu, I research the competition of traditional wushu for my important text contest, and the others wushu contest is a few. This use the some ways to research traditional martial arts competition of Jiangsu Province status of the field survey carried out intensive including literature, questionnaire, expert advice, mathematical statistics and logical analysis method. And analyzed the current situation of wushu competition, in Jiangsu province, found some important problems and reasons, and proposed many countermeasures to development the wushu of Jiangsu province.
