After curriculum innovation in our country, mathematics teaching connecting the Junior M.S. to the Senior M.S. has just begun. It is urgent that how to research the new textbook to supervise students in efficiently studying according to the characteristics and cognition of Senior M.S. students, so that students can adapt to the new textbook to succeed in maths studying in transition and develop self-taught ability and innovative capability, required by new syllabus. After the research about the work the teacher prepares for the student having just stepped into the Senior M.S., the way teachers teach in class and psychological help in transition, the thesis puts forward the following suggestions and solution and the problem exiting in teaching-learning procedures.At First, prepare for transition. Above all, the new syllabus is required of the teacher and new concept must be formed. And then the teacher need to know about the level of students, arrange the teaching slowly at the begging and quickly gradually and help students to revise and inspire the creative idea in class. Besides, a certain amount of exercises are needed in the smooth transition and the teaching on a special topic is paid attention to. Second, improve the teaching in class in transition. Based on new curriculum and textbook and the level of students, the teacher should use different ways to teach students and pay attention to the history and exploration of a theory to inspire the creative capability in students and help them to revise so as to make the knowledge clear understood. Next, strengthen the communication between the teacher of Senior M.S. and the Junior M.S. and provide teachers with chances to learn each other. In addition, teachers should instruct students in self-taught study and encourage the students to read books out of class to learn the good revolution.Third, tutor students in psychology and methods in transition. Utilizing the emotion and success principle, the teacher should arouse the students the enthusiasm to learn maths well and help students to develop the good psychology and study methods to get rid of the bad ones. What's more, the teacher should make students accept the new curriculum and be assessed with varied aims and angles. At the same time, teachers should encourage students to work hard and confront the difficulties courageously. At last, teachers should make a summary to explore how to teach efficiently and deal with implementation about knowledge and feedback from students so as to keep students off the psychological traps.Nevertheless, the mathematics teaching connecting the junior M.S. to the senior M.S. is not perfect. (1)New concept after curriculum innovation is not combined closely with the teaching; (2)The research about is not done deep enough;(3)The research is limited in scope. (4)It is necessary that the compiler should assist in the transition. (5)The teaching methods need innovating. (6)The students should be educated according to their psychological characteristics in transition.
