Enterprises want to survive and develop; they need the guidance of developing strategy. For independent colleges, they also need developing strategy to analysis the current opportunities, challenges and competitive environment and to build sustainable developing strategy with competitive advantages to achieve survival, and get stable, sustained and rapid development.TF Independent College can get rapid development with the rapid expansion of the demand of higher education, while facing social judgments and competition from other colleges and educational institutions. For the TF Independent College, which has a relatively short history and comparatively common conditions, its opportunities and challenges co-exist, or with more challenges than opportunities. In such circumstances, in order to achieve rapid, sustained and stable development, TF Independent College should combine its actual situation, give full consideration to the internal and external environment, and make correct and innovative developing strategies.The thesis is divided to six chapters: Chapter 1 introduces the background of this strategic research and gives a brief introduction of TF Independent College, and presents the writing and researching methods. Chapter 2 gives a brief introduction to China's higher education, including the private colleges of the whole country. Then introduces the current situation of independent schools in Sichuan. And then presents the exterior opportunities and challenges of TF Independent College by analyzing the macro environment, industry environment and challenging environment with PEST analysis tools and Michael Porter's"Five Forces Model". Chapter 3 points out the key successful factors of most independent schools are major settings, personnel training and teaching resources. Combined with the situation of TF Independent College, use KSF to analysis this college and points out the strengths and weaknesses as well as the core competitive ability. Chapter 4 makes plans and analysis for TF Independent College, and by using SWOT analysis tools, confirms TF Independent College's brand developing strategy and also make out the strategic aims and steps. Chapter 5 combines the brand developing strategies mentioned above and makes its implementing suggestions. Chapter 6 makes the conclusion for this entire paper.
