The Idea Of ​​love And Marriage Of Female Graduate Students Study

Marriage and family is an important sociological study area. With the improvement of the women's educational level, the quantity of female graduate students continues growing. However, high education does not take the advantage of love and marriage for female graduate students. The high-level role for post-graduates in career forms in contrast with the position for women in the traditional idea of marriage and families. It makes that love and marriage of female graduate students increasingly attracts widespread attention.This dissertation takes full-time female graduate students (MA, PhD) in June 2009 in Minzu University of China (MUC) as the research object, based on social exchange theory and social role theory, using a questionnaire survey method and non-structured interview method, conducted a survey for the female graduate students in MUC in four dimensions of love and marriage, that is view on choosing spouse, love, family and business, and sexual attitudes. Since MUC the author belongs to collects female.graduate students of various nations, some cross-analysis is performed in the questionnaire survey in inter-ethnic relations, to illustrate some of the national characteristics of female graduate students for the concept of love and marriage.This dissertation is divided into six parts, in accordance with life course sequence of choosing spouse, love and family, analyses the characteristics for female graduate student's view of love and marriage at different stages and how the characteristics shown by social interference problems. Compared with material conditions, female graduate students take the greater emphasis on the other's inner qualities. In the mate choice, female graduate students own decision-making power, but their family remain an important role behind the scenes staff. Partâ…¢, view on love, is about the attitude on issues of love for female graduate students, from the four aspects of love motivation, love means, love costs share and the attitude of lovelorn. Attitude of female graduate students is serious, purposeful and pragmatic. Partâ…£, family and business, describes the basic attitudes and opinions in marriage, family and career for female graduate students. Female graduate students wish to balance both roles in family and business, but when the conflict with family and career, most of female graduate students tend to favor the family. Partâ…¤, sexual attitude, studies attitudes on premarital sex and extramarital sex for female graduate students, and reflects the "sex" concept and the "sexual" behavior attitude for female graduate student. Female graduate students are most of tolerance, intellect and open. Their sex tends to be careful. Conclusion section summarizes the main conclusions of the dissertation, as highly educated women, female graduate students are more able to think independently without losing the self in marriage, their love and marriage behavior is more serious and correct. Finally, the merits for further study are pointed out.
