With the rapid development of global economic integration and the increasing competition of today, western corporations, especially Multi-National Corporations, begin to change the management strategy, the relationship of competition turned from absolute competition to cooperative-competition. Strategic alliance is more and more important to enterprises, and becomes an effective way for the development of enterprises. Strategic alliance plays a vital role in the process of getting into global market. Sharing risk and profit becomes a trend. Samsung Electronics executes the strategic alliance as an important policy for development. This paper states the status and characteristics of global strategic alliance, and describes the strategic alliance of Samsung Electronics in details. Then studies the advantages of non-competitive alliance, and provides some references about the future of Samsung Electronics. Considering with the Chinese enterprises characteristics, this paper raising some opinions that Chinese enterprises should be careful when selecting cooperative partners and take advantage of strategic alliance actively for development.
