| The key of an enterprise to establish and keep a long-term competition advantage is to establish a competition strategy to meet with the request of the real strength and the environment. Chengjian Building Design Institute is transfers a limited-liability company in 2002 by the institution which the system becomes, its predecessor is the Inner Mongolia Construction Survey Design Research Institute which was built in1954. In the socialist planned economy period, is one of only a few in my area of industrial and civil buildings of the grade a survey design units. Being a traditional intelligence-intensive and knowledge-intensive serving enterprise, with 60 years developed, the Chengjian Building Design Institute(FSBDI) faces with a problem to go into the market completely. Therefore, enterprises urgently need to develop to meet the market needs of economic development, development strategy suitable for the enterprise’s own characteristic.Firstly, the author makes an analysis of the external environments for the survival of the company. They are of macro, industry and market opportunity. The production, marketing, management, technology and human resources within the company are analyzed and evaluated. Based on the systematic analysis, the author gives a summary of opportunities, crucial situations, advantages and disadvantages with the help of the technology of SWOT. Secondly, according to the strategic management theory, combined with the results of SWOT, puts forward the enterprise should be four kinds of development modes, i.e.: by using a combination of internal growth, external expansion and diversification, enterprise alliance. Finally, in order to ensure the smooth implementation of enterprise development strategies, the author from the marketing, service marketing, develop new markets, personnel training, human resource management, enterprise culture and other aspects of the formulation and implementation of plan, ensure the overall development strategy to implement urban construction institute.Currently, the Institute of Strategic Studies on domestic development is not a lot of references. The authors own theoretical knowledge learned in school of strategic management, in conjunction with their work in Inner Mongolia Academy of Urban Construction short years experience, made some of their suggestions for the enterprise’s future development strategy, hopes for the future development of urban construction yard in the design market provide some useful reference. At the same time, the authors hope that their research can other companies throughout the building design industry to bring some enlightenment. Meanwhile, some theories, opinions and recommendations of this paper will be with the progress of the development of the construction industry as well as updating social strategy management theory and continuous improvement and perfection. |
