Food is to maintain the life of the most fundamental data of human life,indispensable.Nowadays, food is also an important issue of concern, and is closely related to the public health, public life, and green food is an important part of food, its quality assurance is also related to people’s livelihood.Since the reform and opening up, with the rapid development of Chinese economy, people’s living standard has been greatly improved; in 1978, the disposable income of urban residents was 343 yuan; in 2014, the disposable income of urban residents was 28844 yuan, more than 30 years, the rapid growth of income so that the purchasing power has also undergone tremendous changes; with the progress of the society and the improvement of people’s living standards, the public on the more expensive green food demand from quantity and quality are greatly increased.While economic growth bring us not only the improvement of life level, along with the economical development and the technical progress, the industrialization of food production, food fraud, food and shoddy food safety problems also emerge in an endless stream, endangering the health of people.Purchasing power increased and fears about the health of green food, so that more and more people’s attention, then how can let people eat safe green food? Aiming at this problem, this paper expounds the background of the development of green food, the present situation and superiority of green food development overview, research the current status of green food development in foreign countries, in-depth study of the present stage of development of Dalian city the main problems existed and the reason of the green food, and discusses the countermeasures to solve these problems.This paper puts forward some innovative suggestions on the development of green food in Dalian, such as the establishment of green food science guidance price system, increase the green certification support for enterprises, scientific research units to strengthen cooperation with enterprises, technical support to reduce the production cost and so on. Through research, hoping to find a green food quality security of the practical way.
