Research On Coordinated Development Of Transportation System And Regional Economic System

With the emergence and development of commodity economy, the transportation as an economic activity arises at the historic moment. Transportation activities include many kinds of the national economy, transportation industry as the third industry have more and more big contribute to the first and second industry. Transportation industry has become the important industry of national economy, its development have a big influence on the whole society reproduction and its an important link which is connected to social production. Regional economy system is a part of the whole national economy, it directly influences the development level of the country’s economic level. In our country, the nature, history, human factors is unbalanced, which make regional economic development unbalanced in our country and the transportation level also presents obvious regional. There is a consensus that transportation and economy interact with each other closely, and only the two system have a coordinated development, the city development healthily. But in reality each of them tended to be not coordinated development, the inconsistency show as the traffic lag behind or ahead of the city’s economic development situation, which hinder the social and economic sustainable development. These two conditions are not conducive to the development of social economy and the sustainable development of society and economy. In this paper, I make a exploring research about the regional coordinated development of transportation system and economy system, Which learn from the research results of the system theory, the transportation system and economic coordinated development system and I am guided by the system theory and the regional economic related theory as the instruction, using the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method.This Paper start with the analysis of system theory and its application in the coordinated development, first it make clear the connotation of coordinated development, and then analyzed the characteristics and the interaction mechanism of the transportation system and economic system, based on which to clarify of transportation system and internal mechanism for the coordinated development of regional economic system and the coordination mechanism, and then to construct a system of traffic system and regional economic coordination degree model. Finally, I take the central six provinces for example and analysis the current situation of central six provinces’ transportation and regional economy system. Iit use the date from 1995 to 2012 to evaluate two system coordination development, then it is concluded the central region over the years of transportation system and the coordinated degree of regional economic system. The research results show that from 1995 to 2012, the transportation system and regional economic comprehensive development index of central six provinces generally rise, but with volatility within a certain range, the inconsistent development speed of two systems led to the u(x/y) and u(y/x) have inconsistent development, which lead to the emergence of the two different coordinate. Economic system and the transportation system coordination development have obvious levels, the two system coordinated development of anhui, henan, hubei and hunan province level is higher than other four provinces. Through empirical research, we can get the comprehensive development index through the evaluation on the development of the central six provinces transport and economic system,through which we can get a more intuitive understanding of the two system; Finally, according to the conclusion, we can put forward policy Suggestions.
