Women as a half of social members, more and more participate in the activities of politics, economy and culture in human society. In our country, with the development of the society, the concept of equality and freedom, women have a basically equal development platform and become the enterprise managers, but there is always an indisputable fact that the number of female executives are still far less than men.A large number of studies have shown that there are great differences between female and male managers in understanding and solving problems because of the women’s unique physiological characteristics. Also, the role and responsibility of female managers in society differs from that of men. At the same time, a person’s career development is closely linked to many aspects. Therefore, it is necessary to research the influencing factors of the female managers’ career development and put forward countermeasures relating to the characteristics of female managers’ career development and the present situation and development of Chinese enterprises.First of all, on the basis of the review of relevant literatures, this paper formulates the related theory of female managers’ career development. Secondly, based on previous theoretical research results, an empirical study is launched in order to find the influencing factors of female managers’ career development, including comparing the influence degree of various factors, formulating the specific factors and analyzing classifiedly according to the different background information of the respondents. According to the results of empirical research, society, culture, family, organization, and oneself produce certain effect on the female managers’ career development in enterprise. Also the influence degree varies with the female managers’ age, marital status, educational background, level of management and the type of enterprise. According to the above analysis, this paper finally gives the countermeasures to promote the development of the career of female managers in Chinese enterprises in order to stimulate the female managers to realize the rapid development of their career and be able to better service to the development of the enterprise.
