Females have been increasingly involved in social,culture,economic and political life as social development and progress of human civilization.According to a report from McKinsey in 2015,Chinese females have been contributed GDP to 41%.The percentage of Chinese female involved in work ranks the top of the list.They are playing an important role in every field and every class.Therefore,it has a practical significance for researching influential factors of female employee's career development.Since reform and opening-up,the number of female employees in construction industry has been growing gradually year by year.However,lacking soundness of social system,constrains of traditional views,limitations of the industry features,conflicts between career and family,not well-qualified themselves,all these are difficulties for female employees in construction industry need to overcome.Applying the human capital theory and the social gender theory,this paper made a quantitative analysis on female employee career development in the state-owned construction enterprises,by taking CREC for example.It has been analyzed that what factors limit the female employee career development in state-owned construction enterprises.Besides,it proposed an effective strategy,which could improve the female employee career development in our state-owned construction enterprises.This paper builds on literature analysis and investigation.In the beginning,it has reviewed the relevant literature,and analyzed factors which has an impact on female employee career development.And then,take CREC as an example to quantitatively analyze the status of female employee career development in state-owned construction enterprise.A questionnaire has been conducted based on interview,it also analyzed the results to find how it impact on them.Finally,through statistics,it proposed a feasible study from social,organization,culture,family and individual capability perspective.These would be helpful to improve the female employee career development in state-owned construction enterprise.
