Urbanization is an inevitable stage in the process of industrialization. A large number of population, economy, technology and information resources integration gathered in the town, collaboratively promote the development of the surrounding areas. Especially the megacity, there is a significant advantage in terms of population growth and the expansion of the city scale and the level of the economy, but also caused a series of problems, such as environmental pollution, resource shortage and compact biological poor diversity. Considering this background, this paper summarize the research results based on ecosystem health, city ecosystem health concept, evaluation method and system dynamics model at home and abroad, established in accordance with the actual situation of the city ecosystem health evaluation index system and system dynamics simulation model from the four aspects of society, economy, resources and environment. Using the method of literature analysis, combining qualitative and quantitative analysis, simulation method, taking Beijing city as an example, evaluate the health of ecological system of Beijing city and simulate the development trend of the next 10 years, and puts forward the construction path and scheme that can be taken in ecological system of Beijing city. This paper is based on the inherent requirement of China’s rapid development of urbanization, ecosystem health focus on the megacity, close to the current situation of the development of the construction of megacity ecosystem health evaluation index system, evaluation grade and simulation model of magacity ecosystem construction follow-up policies provide targeted research and reference value and enrich the research of healthy city ecosystem.
