In the new period, the competition of the industry is becoming more and more fierce, especially the competition of talents is the most prominent. Electric power industry has a high knowledge and technology content, with the continuous deepening of the reform of the power system and the continuous adjustment of the market supply and demand, the structure of the past can not meet the needs of the new era. To this end, S companies want to enhance the core competitiveness, we should invest in human capital as the primary project, the use of staff training to improve the quality of staff. This paper based on the theory of employee training, in line with the principle of scientific, practical and high feasibility, this paper discusses the present situation and the main problems of S company staff training, and analyzes the specific causes of the problem. At the same time, it has made the scientific strategy of S company staff training from the aspects of improving staff training, creating good training culture, developing training courses, creating effective evaluation system, cultivating internal training teachers, creating information training platform. In this paper, we have an important practical significance for improving the overall level of S company staff training, providing high quality personnel for the health and good development of the enterprise.
