Research On The Influence Of Human Capital Based On Microscopic Data On The Wage Income Of The New Generation Migrant Workers

The labor market of our country has a special group, and has a special name—migrant workers.With the deepening economic development, new generation of migrant workers have become the core strength of this special group. Compared to the previous generation of migrant workers, professional skills and education degree relatively improve, compared with the othercontemporary labor population, there are still gaps. Relatively low overall level of human capital stock and investment bias, resulting in low level of wage income. Under the background, this paper is based on the micro-data, the paper mainly discusses human capital factors which influence the wage income of the new generation of migrant workers, strive to find the key factor so as to provide the policy.Through the questionnaire survey method to obtain the micro-data of the occupational characteristics and the human capital characteristics of the new generation of migrant workers, wages status, demographic characteristics to develop the descriptive statistical analysis, preliminarily estimate and discuss the impacts on the new generation of migrant workers wage. By integrating the theory ofhuman capital and the theory of labor discrimination to analyze the mechanism that human capital take effect on the income of the new generation of migrant workers.Through the Logit regression model, more deepen to analyze human capital factor and verify the regression relationship between the human capital and the different wage levels and carry on marginal analysis.The main results of this paper show the more increasing of education level, the more probability of obtaining high wage, lowering the probability of obtaining low wages, occupational training and possessing the skill certificate can add the probability of obtaining high wages and reduce the probability of obtaining low wages, the higher probability of higher wages for male and the marriedand other meaningful results.Finally, this paper puts forward with suggestions. From the government, such as improving the ability of the government to encourage and promote investment in education and vocational training, in order to highlight the main-body position of the government in the education management, formulating the protective institutions of human capital investment of the new generation of migrant workers. From the enterprise point of view, establishing the specific organization, such as the migrant workers trade unions, founding human capital investment funds for migrant workers. From the perspective of family and individual, such as strengthening the family to pay attention to the concept of education and training, strengthening the concept of personality and ability to develop, strengthening the concept of human capital investment.
