Migrant workers are a special group in the development process of China’sindustrialization and urbanization. After the reform and opening up, China hasexperienced three "Tide", especially the third "tide", they are no longersatisfied staying in the city, but tendency to long-term residents; most of themare no farming experience, agriculture and rural are very strange to them.They are called the generation of migrant workers. The new generation ofmigrant workers that was born in1980, aged more than16years, mainlyliving in cities, and they are engaged in non-agricultural occupations. The newgeneration of migrant workers is a continuation of the previous generation ofmigrant workers, and may continue long-term, which is determined by thespecial conditions of our country.In this paper, author combinated the new generation of migrant workers andhuman capital theory, put forward the concept of new generation of migrantworkers human capital. And put the new generation of migrant workers humancapital as the research object in order to enhance business performance,finding affected business performance factors. Through a survey of205enterprises use spss17.0measurement of statistical tools for data analysis, andtest the research hypothesis. The analysis revealed that in the new generationof migrant workers’ human capital, work motivation, health awareness, healthinvestment and self-learning on firm performance has a significant positiveimpact on the policy recommendations. Only the human resources of the newgeneration of migrant workers into the human capital that build the corecompetitiveness of enterprises, so as to enhance business performance is thelong-term strategy of the enterprise development.
