A Study On The Present Situation, Problems And Countermeasures Of Hui Town In Chengguan County, Huaiyang County, Henan Province

With the development of social economy after reform and opening-up, our country has entered the active period of the great flow of different ethnic groups. It has become a trend that many ethnic groups are mixed in certain areas. The development of dispersely living regions is not only regional, but also multi-national, multi-religious and multi-cultural. The steady and rapid development of dispersely living regions has a positive effect on the development of mixed and dispersed minority. Therefore, the research of social development for dispersely living regions--urrent situation, problems and countermeasures matters a lot. It not only promotes the development of dispersely living regions, but also drives the innovation of method and concept of related fields.Chengguan town of Hui nationality at Huaiyang county of Henan province is a typical example of dispersely living regions. There are 15 different minority groups, including the Hui nationality, Man nationality, Mongol nationality and so on. The population in this town of Hui people is 23 thousand, accounting for more than 95% of the total population of the ethnic minorities. Based on the related theory of ethnology and sociology, this article chooses Chengguan town of Hui nationality as an example to do the research as the following:analyzes the current development situation from the angle of micro; explores its development regularity and characteristics; gives some constructive suggestions for the development of dispersely living regions.The paper is organized in the following five chapters:the first chapter is the relevant theoretical analysis of the development of dispersely living regions; the second chapter introduces the development situation of the Chengguan town of Hui nationality at Huaiyang county of Henan province, including its geography, history, the formation of the dispersely living at the focused town and its ethnic, religious, culture and customs; the third chapter concerns the introduction of the acquired achievements of the Chengguan town of Hui nationality, mainly presenting the economic development, political development, social development, cultural development and ecological development; subsequently, the encountered troubles and their reasons during the development process of the Chengguan town of Hui nationality are expounded and analyzed in the fourth chapter; the fifth chapter proposes the practical proposal to promote the development of economy and society, which is based on the thorough investigations and current situation of the Chengguan town of Hui nationality; finally, the conclusion section concludes this paper with the expectation to promote economic and social development of dispersely living regions.
