Study On The Life Cycle Of Shandong Mengshan Tourist Destination

Recent years, tourism industry has entered a period of rapid development in our country. As a sunrise industry, it has been a focus. A sample survey from CNTA(china national tourism administration) shows that: landscape scenery, humanities buildings and folk custom are the top three tourist attractions for Chinese tourists. Landscape scenery is the most attractive tourist attraction among them. China is a mountainous country, it is abundant in mountain tourism resources. But the development of mountain tourism Area encountered some problems in different regions.By learning research achievements of mountain tourism and TALC(Tourism Area Life Cycle), this article focuses on Mountain Meng in Shandong province, and collected the tourist receipts data for 20 years, discussed the life cycle stage of Mountain Meng. Follow the idea of“raise questions--analyze--solve the problem”, this paper divided into the following five sections:In chapter 1, firstly this article introduced the background and the significance, summed up research achievements about mountain tourism, TALC and Mountain Meng. pointed out the focuses, techniques line and the methods.In chapter 2, the concept of mountain and mountain tourism are summarized, The theories of TALC and RMP analysis are analyzed.In chapter 3, it analyzed the development status of Mountain Meng from three aspects:geographic conditions, tourist resources and tourist market, Pointed out the deficiencies about tourism image, tourism product system, cultural resources development of Mountain Meng.Chapter 4 the key points of the study, it drew the life cycle curve on the basis of the tourist receipts date from 1995 to 2015, and analyzed the development status from resources, products and market of Mountain Meng. Determined the current development of Mountain Meng is in the“false arrest” stage.In last part, According to the research conclusions of this paper, I think Mountain Meng should take six measures about system optimization, spatial reorganization, improve their image,innovative products, culture mining and integration format to achieve sustainable development in the future.
