| With the combination of turism and movie & TV industry,movie induced tourism has become a fashion.The first film & TV city in China has led a big trend of movie induced tourim,which increaced the great number of film & TV cities in China. However,this trend didn't last as long as expected;most of the cities have declined since the influence of movie or TV provided seldom advantage to the tourist attraction after several years.These cities proved a short tourism life cycle only rely on the little filming income.By contrast,a few film & TV cities successfully get rid of the"short life"restrict and their tourism evolving path are more applied to Butler's theory. At the present time,most demostic research on film & TV city focused on the description of current situation,tourism development and management.There is almost no related research on its evolving characteristics.Based on the importance in explaining how tourism develops and the guide to tourism planning,this paper focuses on the tourism area life cycle of film & TV city.The first chapter introduced the concept and characteristics of movie induced tourism and film & TV city,proposing the research object and the significance.The second chaper gives a deep study on the Tourism Area Life Cycle,discussing its effect and application to film&TV city.The third chaper gives an innovative introduce of Boston Matrix to Tourism Area Life Cycle,interpreting each other's theory in their own modes.Makes prediction according to Boston Matrix theory based on current movie-induced development in China,which expands the concept and application of Life Cycle theory.The fourth chapter builds the formation mechanism of film&TV city Tourism Area Life Cycle.The fifth chapter takes Hengdian as a classic example, determines its current stage on the life cycle and the formation reasons. |
