Employment is a major event related to the people’s livelihood. Facing the severe employment pressure of our country, tourism informal employment plays an important role. Tourism informal employer already has become a considerable scale of special social group. It is of great significance to pay attention to the tourism informal employer. This paper focuses on the social identity and future behavior of tourism informal employers.This paper is divided into five parts: The first part is the literature review. It mainly introduces the concept of social identity, related theories and the domestic and foreign research progress of social identity. The second part is the research design, which mainly introduces the actual operation of two concept-- tourism informal employment and social identity. In addition, this part introduces the research ideas, methods and research process. The main part of the thesis is the third and fourth part. The author makes a detailed analysis of the tourism informal employer according to the data of the questionnaire and interview in these two parts. The third part summarizes the features of tourism informal employer, analysis the social identity of tourism informal employer from the four dimensions of cognition, emotion, evaluation and behavior. The fourth part analysis the tourism informal employer’s influencing factors of future behavior tendency by constructing the logistic regression model, mainly analysis the relationship between social identity and their future behavior. The fifth part is the summary of research conclusion, shortage and the prospects for future research.
