Space Interconnection And The Realization Of The Way Through The Way

In September and October, 2013, President Xi Jinping raised a new great strategic proposition which is called “One Belt, One Road”. The core content is policy communication, facilities unicom, unimpeded trade, accommodation of fund and communication among people, in which facilities unicom is the base. In order to carry out “One Belt, One Road” Initiative, neighboring countries are priorities. AsiaPacific countries’ mutual development and prosperity will form a common destiny which is all-round, multi-field and integration. This is the essential aim. Under the diplomatic strategy of One Belt One Road, realizing the connectivity of fundamental infrastructure is becoming the basis of commerce, trade and regular visits. To ensure the smooth promotion of Silk Road and Maritime Silk Road, “Tianji Silk Road” is needed. The concept of “Tianji Silk Road” fits in with the appeal of China’s aerospace internationalization and the need of mutual development in Asia-Pacific area. Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization is one of the international organizations which are dominated by China and its member states as well as potential states are located along the “One Belt, One Road”area.As the space exploring has the features of big investment, high risk and long cycle, and the limits of economic condition and technical problems definitely exist, which shows extremely big difficulty for only one country to do something big. Cooperation could gather technology, funds and material, saving money and sharing achievement in material and technology. Lowering the cost in space exploring could help solve the problem of insufficient fund and lower the risk of outer space activities. Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization could shoulder the cooperation task among different countries, however, since its establishment, few numbers of member states, low participation and limited international influence restrict its further development. Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization could be more utilized to a great extent and China should take great advantage of existing energy of the organization and activate the discussion subjects in the organization during the process of realizing “Tianji Silk Road”and building the connectivity of land, ocean and space.
