America put forward the New Silk Road project in2011. In2014it startwithdrawing troops from Afghanistan. At the end of2013, China proposed the Beltand Road Initiative. It seems that the two countries’ strategy will have a lot ofinfluence in the central Asia area. Central Asia is located in the heart of Eurasia, and itis of significance geographically. America, Russia and China have high stake in thisregion, their foreign policies set the framework of the status of Central Asia. At thesame time, to a large extent their action will influence the development and change inthe pattern of international relations.Nowadays the Silk Road Project of Amercia has not undergone smoothly, whileof China are warmly welcomed by other countries. By analyzing the two countries’strategies from the objectives and characteristics, the implementation, challenges andfuture development trend, we can sum up experience and lessons. So that we can helpour country in further implementation of the Silk Road Economic Belt Initiative. Bycombining the mechanism such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and theAsian infrastructure investment bank, we can better promote the Belt and RoadInitiative.
