Hubei And Zhejiang Private Economy Development Is A Comparative Study

Trough twenty years' reform and opening ,the private economy in both Hubei province and Zhejiang province has greatly been developed ,but there is a great gap between the development of the two provinces' private economy by comparison . Before the reform and opening , Hubei province was one of the strongest economic provinces and one of the areas invested heavily in by the government. Its industry, especially heavy industry was developed and played a leading role in mining ,mentallurgical,mechanical, shipbuilding, automobile industry and so on . Hubei province was also one province with the strong science and technology .and there were many well-known college. However, before the reform and opening ,Zhejiang province is one small province with less resources .Its cultivated area per capita is less than half as much as that of the whole country .Owning to defense-preparation ,the government invested less money in this province .However, after more than twenty years ,the two provinces ' economic positions have greatly changed .Zhejiang province has become one of the strongest economic provinces ,whose GDP ranks forth in the whole country ,while Hubei province has been thrown out of the strongest provinces .The main reason resulting in this change lies in the discrepancy of the two provinces' private economic development .The private economy in Zhejiang province has developed more quickly and ranks first in the whole country ,but the private economy in Hubei province has developed more slowly and lags behind Zhejiang province quantitatively and qualitatively .The comparing research on the two provinces' private economy has a theoretically and practically important significance .By comparison, the reasons can be found and reference suggestions can be advanced to further improve the private economy in Hubei province .This article is divided into five chapters .In the first chapter ,the meaning of the private economy is defined ,and the overall developmental situation of the two provinces' private economy are compared form the historical and actual angles.In the second chapter ,the leading industries of the private economy in Hubei province and Zhejiang province are firstly exposed: tertiary industry, especially commercial industry in Hubei province ,and secondary industry, especially manufacturing industry .Then the advantages and disadvantages of the two choices of the leading industry and reasons resulting in the discrepancy are analyzed .In the third charter, the space distribution modes of the private economy in Hubeiprovince and Zhejiang province are firstly showed :the auxiliary mode in Hubei province and the agglomerated economy model in Zhejiang province. Then the advantages and disadvantages of the two modes and the forming reasons resulting in the two modes are analyzed.In the forth chapters, the industrial organization modes of the two private economy in Hubei province and Zhejiang province are firstly revealed traditional family business mode in Hubei province and cooperative shares system mode .Then the advantages and disadvantages of the two modes and the forming reasons resulting in the two modes are analyzed.In the fifth chapter ,using the experience of Zhejiang province for reference .suggestions and countermeasures are advanced in order to further develop the Hubei province economy .
