Steel Co. Ltd. of Pingxiang had belonged to the metallurgical company of Jiangxi ,which was Public auctioned in July of 2003, The company becomes a share-holding enterprise. Having been changed into an enterprises with private shareholding systems for two years, Steel Co., Ltd. of Ping xiang started to reform its inside mechanism, make great efforts in its way to modern business administrative system. This thesis describes the reform adopted, including its management system reform on a series of enterprise issues emerged after the system changes to a shareholding one. The whole process of reform, the company's existing problem and the development prospect are discussed. After making research , this thesis also concludes.If the state-owned enterprises will develop,they must improve the market competitiveness of enterprises constantly . If the state-owned enterprise should improve the market competitiveness , it is feasible and helpful to reform them to the shareholding system. However, an effective implementation of the following internal management reformor the establishment of the modern system of business management, is more essential. This will finally facilitate the development of the state-owned enterprise .
