Construction machinery industry is the important component of machinery industry. After more than 50 years development, China has been the third construction machinery manufacturing country following the United States and Japan and one of the main machinery markets in the world. However, there is still the huge distance between the Chinese construction machinery enterprises and the advanced international construction machinery enterprises, and it is the key factor that most Chinese construction machinery enterprises lacking of the technology innovation ability. This paper survey a suitable technology innovation mode for Chinese construction machinery enterprises through analyzing the technology innovation history, actuality and future of the Chinese representational construction machinery enterprise such as Zoomlion Heavy &Science Co., Ltd. This study will be useful for Chinese construction enterprises forming the core competitive power and make China become the real manufacturing strong country.This paper has conducted an insightful analysis of the connotation of technology innovation and summarized and analyzed technology innovation mode and its realizing mechanism and evaluation system. This paper has adopted a qualitative and quantitative, analogy and concrete case analysis approach in studying the choice of the technology innovation mode of Zoomlion Heavy & Science Co., Ltd and put forth the basic principle of selecting the technology innovation mode of Zoomlion Heavy & Science Co., Ltd by analyzing the technologyinnovation history, actuality and future of this company. Furthermore, based on this principle, the paper surveys its technology innovation tentative mode and development mode and discusses the realizing mechanism and evaluation system of this innovation mode.Major research achievements of this paper are that it has made a comparison and analysis of the various technology innovation modes of domestic construction machinery enterprise, put forth the technology innovation tentative mode and development mode of Zoomlion Heavy & Science Co., Ltd. integrated advanced experience of the enterprises home and abroad and industry background as well as the actuality and perspective of Zoomlion Heavy & Science Co., Ltd. Furthermore, it set up the realizing mechanism and evaluation system of this innovation mode.
