Theoretical And Empirical Study Of China's Foreign Trade Structure Of The Influencing Factors

On the basis of international economics, international trade theory, location economy theory, industrial structure theory and foreign investment theory, this thesis analyzes influencing factors of structure of China foreign trade under the special stage (1980s to this day) of rapid development of economic globalization. This article has important innovational significance both in theoretically and in practically.Based on thorough analysis of correlative theories and studies of structure of foreign trade in economic globalization the paper works out the eight conception factors (comparative advantage, factor endowment, industrial characteristics, conditions of science and technology, conditions of education, international finance, trade channels and policy environment) which influence the structure of foreign trade and ten index factors (prominent comparative advantage, ratio of capital and labor, total factor productivity, intra-trade index, proportion of R&D in GDP, proportion of education expenditure in GDP, accumulation of FDI, RMB real exchange rate) having relative function which can be measured. According to the previous study the thesis makes an empirical analysis about the relation of selected factors and structure of China foreign trade by using correlation analysis, multi-linear regression model and multiplier analysis.Through theory study and empirical study we obtain major influencing factors(comparative advantage, factor endowment, conditions of science and technology, conditions of education) and influencing factors of each frame of structure of China foreign trade structure(merchandise structure of foreign trade, pattern structure of foreign trade, mode structure of foreign trade, area structure of foreign trade) within round defined range under the special background of rapidly development of economic globalization. Finally the paper puts forward structural optimization objective of foreign trade under economic globalization which guides by the result of study.
