Non-financial Indicators Of Corporate Performance Evaluation Study

The disadvantages of traditional corporate performance evaluation system, which is composed of only financial indicators, are becoming more and more evident. To make objective evaluation, only financial evaluation is not enough, because financial data and indicators can only reflect past operation performance of a company, and it is almost helpless when evaluating the future performance of the company.Recent years have witnessed the fact that academic and practice researchers are paying more and more attention on the combination of financial and non-financial indicators in the corporate performance evaluation system. It is also widely accepted that non-financial indicators should be included in the evaluation system, which can complement the disadvantages of financial indicators and thus make the evaluation system more logical and reasonable.The process of reconstruction of the performance evaluation system is definitely a huge project. When including non-financial factors in their performance evaluation system, enterprises should try to find out the most relative indicators with the long-term development of the company, as well as the causality between them. Meanwhile, necessary adjustments should be made to adapt to the dynamic external economic environment.In terms of non-financial evaluation system, the State Owned Enterprises in China haven't established a scientific, integrated and effective one. To establish and perfect the non-financial evaluation system is not only a process of standardization, but also the widely accepted practice around the world, which, therefore, has great practical significance to the Chinese enterprises.
