The application of E-commerce is experiencing rapid increase with the developmentof internet technology. The year of 2005 welcomes the Web2.0 era, which changes ourworking method and life style. Web2.0 technology, represented by blog and SNS, isindeed an initiative of the e-commerce application, which marks the beginning of thesecond E-commerce pattern. The new pattern makes up for the deficiency of the traditionale-commerce pattern, and change the center where the company bases its operation, fromthe large-scale commercial network platform to individual network. All those lead to athorough reconsideration of the profit-making mode of E-commerce. This thesis attemptsto make a break-through from the superficial study on the corporate profit-making mode,and explore the essential difference of the profit-making mechanisms of E-commercemodes in various environments, from the perspective of the law of value creationconfiguration. Firstly, this thesis elaborates on the new direction of Web2.0 technologyboth at home and abroad. Secondly, the thesis analyzes the changes in the characteristicsof the internet, as well as the impact of Web2.0 on the profit-making mode of companies.Then this thesis further explains the relationship between value creation and corporateprofit-making mode, and proposes five basic elements of e-commerce profit-makingmodes. Finally, with the cases of Douban.com and Books.com.tw, this thesis is devotedto find out a new profit-making way, after analyzing and integrating the profit-makingmodes in Web2.0 environment. This thesis is hoped to build a theoretical foundation andprovide constructive suggestions for entrepreneurs or initiators in the internet business toestablish an effective and feasible profit-making mode.
