"Reconstruction" is the theme of current market economy. In this background, only through continuously coordinating, can firms make great progress rapidly. During this procession of coordination, the largest difficulty is to change the staff's psychological situations. If the problem is not dealt with properly, it will hinder the development of firms seriously. As for a firm, organizational commitment based on staff's psychological situations is the key which will impact staff's cooperation with firms' reconstruction directly. Hence, to do research on the organizational commitment for staff is particularly important.Fankou lead-zinc mine is a state-owned mine firm with a gifted mineral resources advantage. In the reconstruction tides, the mine witnessed the vicissitudes of many state-owned mine firms, and realized the "reconstruction pressure" from outside world. With acute discemment,the former and present leaders of the mine showed great foresight, and carried on many reforms in the fields of technology and management at all times. In recent years, the leaders strengthened the reform. In the course of reconstruction, the managers of Fankou mine experienced the obstruction from their staff. So the organizational commitment of staff, esp., of core staff needs being improved urgently to support the organizational reconstruction.This paper did statistical quantitative analysis with the sample of Fankou Lead-zinc mine's staff. Through interviewing the staff on the spot and questionnaire research, I obtained specific first-hand materials about the firm's culture, the organizational reconstruction, the organizational commitment of staff. On this foundation, with the vertical line of reconstruction time, the paper explored the relations between the organizational reconstruction and the organizational commitment, and put forward with related suggestions to enhance the organizational commitment combining the method of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The paper can offer directions and help for firms to settle down with the future reconstruction and to seek for further development.
