| The article is a study of the Business Process Reengineering in the field of logisticsand supply chain management. It starts with the BPR theory and mainly covers theconception and intention of it. Then it discusses the background of BPR and therelated situation in China. After that it emphasizes on the application of BPR inlogistics and supply chain management with combination of two theories creatively.In this article the process of logistics is divided into series of sub processes and wecan improve the efficiency of logistics by reorganization of these sub processes.Besides, the article takes the Haier Group's logistics BPR as an example and talksabout the whole idea, main steps and executive strategy of BPR, etc. It totallyincludes the process reengineering of purchase, transportation, inventory and coversboth the internal logistics and external supply chain management. Furthermore, itindicates the large change of BPR by comparing the detailed data before and afterBPR objectively, including the logistics efficiency, operation cost, customer servicelevel and competition power, etc. After all those comparison it draws a conclusion thatthe logistics BPR can improve the efficiency and cut the cost greatly.
