With the rapid development of Internet, the internet information has reached every aspect of life and work, changing the life style of Chinese people. The present trend of net information service is the localization and interactivity, especially the classification of local life and business booms the classified advertisements and information net, thus makes the localization model of Internet information become a new spotlight in network economy. On one hand, it attracts many founders and entrepreneurs to enter this field; on the other hand, it attracts the eyes of international investors. For example, Beijing 58 Information Tech Co.Ltd has gained millions dollars of venture investment by the SAIF Partners on April ,2006 .It accelerates the competition of classification information in network industry.This paper reviews the nature of the newly developing classified advertisements and information net and explores the general competitive strategy of internet enterprises in network economy, integrated with the competitive strategy theory of Michael. E. Porter. It investigates the general developing and competitive strategy. According to the faithful data and the practice on the classified information industry, the paper concludes the definition, classification, history, compares the business models of internet classified information, and analyzes the exterior circumstance, competition status, trend, strength, weakens, threaten, and opportunity. Finally, the author puts forward the options of the competitive strategies of the entrants and participators of classified information nets, using case analysis to compare the competitive strategies of representative classified information net businesses.The paper provides reference for operation firms, entrants and related persons in classified advertisements and information field of Internet Industry.
