In the world of economic globalization, the special characteristics of aviation industry, i.e. high degree of technical difficulty, limited market share, big investment, high risk and long period, have decided that international cooperation is one of the main stream development model at present and in the future for aviation industry of whole world. In recent years, most of the developing countries face the severe challenge from asymmetric war under high technical conditions and a harsh reality that large numbers of the second generation fighters in service will be retired soon. Under this dual pressure from outside, Chinese side entered into co-development and co-production of F fighter with the air force of certain country and its aeronautical complex. In this cooperative project, both sides will co-develop F fighter, meanwhile Chinese side will assist the foreign part to establish F fighter production line and have co-production of the said aircraft. Thus, to well organize the co-production means great significance for both sides.This article is focused on how to assure smooth implementation of co-production. In co-production, aircraft manufacturing, that features in large variety and small batch, determines the complexity of production management. The most important role of production operations management system in co-production is to coordinate and control the production, technology and quality of the factory of each party to maintain consistency of co-production data.This article has made an overall plan on the co-production operations management system based on the study of cooperation model and a clear work division.
