These yeas, small and medium-sized technology enterprises have won great success based on technology innovation and they are now becoming the stimulus of the technology improvement and playing an important role for the economy development. However, the small and medium-sized technology enterprises have revealed many drawbacks such as lack of investment on R&D and high-quality talents as well as lack of core technology in the process of development. Simultaneously, as the accelerating pace and increasing complexity of technological innovation, enterprises' activities about technological innovation are increasingly confined by their limited resources and ability so that more and more technology innovations have transcended the borderlines among enterprises, industries or even nations. Under such circumstance, making full use of the cooperative network for technology innovation which can offer technology and other resources from outside, combining with the resources inside the enterprises is imperative.The dissertation tries to have a comparatively comprehensive analysis on the cooperative network for technology innovation of small and medium-sized technology enterprises, which is on the basis of absorbing the research results and methods on the subject of cooperative technology innovation and network organization, from the perspectives as follows: the basic framework, the main types, connecting mechanism and impetus mechanism of the network; the life cycle of the network and tactics for building the network; the governance mechanism of the network.The purpose of the dissertation is to help the small and medium-sized technology enterprises to face the challenges deriving from their own "strategic gaps" and the changing environment of technological innovation in an effort to optimize the model of technological innovation among small and medium-sized technology enterprises. In addition, it is hoped that the dissertation can offer some good reference for government establishing macro-policies to promote the technological innovation ability of small and medium-sized technology enterprises.This dissertation is divided into eight chapters:...
