Along with the economic globalization and the unceasing development of market, the environment that enterprises depend on mainly has the following change tendencies: the personalization and diversification of customer's demand, the uncertainty of market condition's change, the more aggravating competition between enterprises and the curtailment of product life cycle that caused by technology,etc. At the same time, along with the more rigorous request for product's quality, quality already became the key aspect of product's competitive power. And because product's quality can be decided by its all working procedure in the supply chain, but not the partial working procedure in a company, enterprise should pay attention to supplier's quality supply competence, conform the supply chain appropriately and guarantee its product's quality level.Regarded supply chain's competition as the foundation, firstly, the paper analyzed the traditionary and contemporaneity competition's characteristics and strategies between enterprises and its suppliers from product's quality and price, studied enterprise and supplier's competition process using the quality-price economic model, obtained the conclusion that there should be cooperation in the competition process between enterprises and its suppliers, analyzed and corrected Dr. Michael Porter's theory of "competition model", and then, pointed out enterprise has the necessity to make the dynamic analysis and appraisal to supplier's supplying competence and supplier's quality supplying competence; Secondly, the paper conceived the index system of supplier's supplying competence which on the foundation of cooperation, defined and analyzed every index, and evaluated the system by Analytic Hierarchy Process systematically; Thirdly, beginning from the theory of process capability, the paper linked up quality supplying competence and quality requirement, analyzed and appraised the four kinds of supplier's quality supplying competence by quantitative method, derived out four formulas for four kinds of supplier's quality supplying competence index, and introduced instances separately; Meanwhile, combined the concept of product's fraction defective, the paper derived out the formula between quality supplying competence index and product's fraction defective of multi-quality charachtersistics suppliers, worked out the relation form between supplier's quality supplying competence index and product's fraction defective, and introduced the...
