Knowledge Team's Performance Evaluation System

With the knowledge economical era coming, knowledge industry grows more and more important in industrial structure and the knowledge teams becomes critical unit to enhance enterprises competition. There are many research results about the knowledge teams, but few of them related to performance appraisal because of the knowledge teams'characteristics. This thesis tries to draw some valuable conclusions in this field.In the thesis, the writer takes an overview of knowledge worker and knowledge team, analyzes some shortages of the existing performance appraisal in the implement, and puts forward suggestion. At the same time, the writer expounds how to implement. The main contains of this thesis can be introduced briefly as follows:ChapterⅠ: The thesis proposes a definition of knowledge workers and knowledge teams. At the same time, the writer tries to analyze their characteristics. Knowledge teams are project oriented teams organized with knowledge workers, and such kinds of teams are with such characteristics as customer adapting, information asymmetric and responsibility-authority. This part is concerning theory of performance appraisal.ChapterⅡ: on the basis of researching actual performance appraisal system, this part discusses that those characteristics with the popular viewpoints about performance is not seasoned with the knowledge teams which are differ from the general teams.ChapterⅢ: this part is core of the thesis.
