Abstract: Consumer ism refers to the prevalence in the Western capitalist countries, the least developed countries also found a cultural attitudes, values or way of life. Consumerism as a global culture, ideology, accompanied by economic globalization worldwide spread, but also to the way of life and values of our people have had a profound impact. But consumerism is in conflict with the concept of sustainable development, which led to a series of negative social consequences.
