The Oil Companies Safety Culture Evaluation

The most danger of petroleum profession causes the security problem of petroleum enterprise to respect more and more , the security culture thought proposed caused the petroleum enterprise had more strategies and the method in the safeguard of safety production and the staff safety aspect. Safe culture level of a company symbolizes safety quality and management level of his workers. Analyzing and evaluating the actual level of petroleum company safety culture are very important to establish the strategic aim of safety culture. The establishment of safety culture of Chinese petroleum company is still in the primary stage and haven't formed systematic theory. In order to promote the culture quickly, a set of efficient index system to evaluate petroleum company safety culture need to be found.This paper bases on safety culture theory, using theories of safety science and technology, philosophy, management science, sociology and culture theory, firstly confines the concept of petroleum company safety culture and collecting evaluating problems.Secondly, the paper does research of the factors of evaluating system, confirming the propose, the subject and the object of the evaluation. Developing the subject by borrowing 360°performance management thought, wholly confirms the subject should be: countries, superiors, colleagues, guests and workers.At last, the paper bases on analyzing the actuality of safety culture of typical company in and aboard, combines the development need of safety culture of Chinese company, analyzes the levels of safety culture, from four aspects of the content of safety culture founds a set of evaluating index system of petroleum company safety culture. Using the AHP which can well combine qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis establishes the weight of evaluating factors and the subjects. And using examples to show the result of the evaluation and get the level of safety culture.
