Chinese Farmers Cooperative Economic Organization System

Since China's reforming and open up, along with the disorganization of people's community and the establishment of agricultural family management system, Chinese agriculture market transition has been enhanced. However, the market competition intensity and the improvement of agriculture characteristics cause the heterogeneity, diversification and uncertainty of agricultural production and circulation system more complex, the market adaptation to traditional cooperatives starts to reduce gradually. So it is urgent to take an innovation in agricultural organization structure. The development of the new-type farmer cooperatives greatly changes the low level of farmer organization status, boosts the rebuilding of microeconomic body, enhances the trade efficiency in agricultural market.The paper explains the conception and institutional characteristic of new-type farmer cooperatives, at the same time, it uses the method of new institutional economics to put more emphasis on the evolutional logic of farmer cooperatives and institutional limitation of new-type farmer cooperatives. The paper also puts forward the structure problems of institution innovation according to the government regulations. It aims to give some theoretical and policy supports in the construction of our country's new -type farmer cooperatives. The paper is composed of five parts:The first part is introduction, it emphasizes domestic and oversea research progress on cooperatives, the theoretical importance and practical significance of the paper, then it summarizes the research methods.The second part analyzes the transition procedure of cooperatives in China after the 1949 liberation. According to the analysis structure of institutional transition, the author considers that the important factors influencing the transition of cooperatives include product character, the choice to meet the demands of cooperative members and the supply of institutional environment. Based on the description of transitional history, it analyzes the operation mechanism of these factors in addition to the theories of transaction cost and coalition game.
