Since the21st century, the Chinese rail transit has entered a rapid and flourish development stage. CSR Qishuyan LTD.,CO. has wined many orders for exporting diesel locomotives to overseas market. Traditional management in CSR Qishuyan LTD.,CO. is difficult in carrying out these projects. So change must be introduced in organization structure and management process of the company. Now the project management has been the main part in modern enterprise management. All the famous enterprises in railway industry like Simens, Bombardier and so on are enterprises of all project-driven. So how can Qishuyan company build an organization mode fit for project management, and it can be good for all projects acting by Qishuyan company, these realistic problems are impendent for the company.We carry out the research on the project for Tanzam locomotives, and researches the improvement problems of project management in CSR Qishuyan LTD.,CO.. Its aim is to improve the level of company project management and enterprise market competitiveness. This thesis uses the theory and method of project planning and project controlling in project management, combined with the management practice and implement of specific project, to analyze the existing problems in company project management and approaches to the problem.First, we introduce the research background, including the project management mode in Qishuyan company, introduce of specific project and the existing problems. Next, we discuss the theory and method of project planning and project controlling in project management. Then, we demonstrate the project planning and controlling in project for locomotives exported to Tanzam, and discovers and analyzes the existing problem, and points out the main problems of the company in project planning,project schedule control, project cost control and project quality control. To improve the level of project management in company, the thesis researches from the principle of systematics, qualitative, quantitative and informazition, provides the improvement plan for these problems. The plan solves the problem from the idea of project management, and provides the solution and safeguard measure based on organization of project management, rule of project management, construction of information system of project management and training of project management. The research demonstrates that the existing problems in project management in Qishuyan company provided by this thesis are main elements for restricting the smooth complete of project. By the optimization of project planning and control manner, it provides the effective safeguard measure, which is useful for enhancing the company management level and the customer satisfaction, and also the company market competitiveness.
