Yunnan Road Along The Geological Development Of Tourism Resources And Campground Construction

There are colorful geological tourism resources in Yunnan province. Tourism has been fully developed in the province since 1999, and it is a famous tourism destination in China and even the world wide. Many people are eager to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Yunnan.With the increasingly pressure on people every day, people want a more flexible and relax tourism experience. Thanks for the highway network in the country and the higher living standard, a great many families can possess their sedans. This gives them a good opportunity to enjoy the trips in their own cars and to see whatever scenery they want to see. Therefore, self drive tourism develops with an unexpected speed. For example, there were 100,000 sedans out of Kunming during the first day in the past national day holiday.Yunnan province is in possession of a great many kinds of geological tourism resources, such as lakes, rivers, mountains, waterfalls, icebergs, hot springs etc. So many geological tourism resources give self drive tourism rise to further and faster development.According the development of self drive tourism in western countries, we can see mat establish camping ground is a good way to perfect the service systems. There are 20,000 camping grounds in the US, 50,000 in Europe and more than 1,500 in Japan. All the camping grounds are equipped with sufficient things to meet tourists' needs, such as hose for cars and RVs, power, parking lots, pubs, play grounds and wireless internet service.This paper combines geological tourism resources with self drive tourism, and illustrates the development of self drive tourism in Yunnan province. It also expounds some principles of establish camping ground, like rules, processes and some things should be paid attention to. The last chapter takes Xishuangbanna section of Kunman Road for example to discuss the possibility and necessary of founding camping grounds and to analysis the benefits from camping grounds. Hopefully, this paper will be helpful to perfect the self drive tourism service systems.
