Unified Procurement Management Of The Project

The management of the large engineering project includes tendering & purchasing, construction managing and payment & settlement. The managing way by dividing to three stages will ignore the important position of purchasing management in the project management.Through analysis of the problems existing in current three-stage-management, catching the characters of project tendering activities, analyzing and proving the purchasing characters of tendering activity, this dissertation applied the ideas of establishing consolidated strategic goal, concentrated professional functional purchasing management and whole supplying chain management of modern purchasing management to the engineering project and dissertated the important meanings of that. Further, this dissertation summarized the control points of purchasing quality management and the means of improving quality management for each procedure of demand analysis, selection of purchasing ways, preparation of documents, operation of purchasing, managing of processing and evaluation.In this dissertation the quality issues of management of purchasing will be studied with reference to the characters of management of large engineering project. The purchasing department is the unit to provide this service for producing or managing units of developing enterprise. Improving the quality of this internal service is the way to promote the level of purchasing management. The theory of Total Quality Management and means of 6 Sigma Quality Management are described in this dissertation. The adoption of these theories and means is conceptually discussed. The dissertation discussed the adoption of quality management theories and means in purchasing activities to promote the management of purchasing. The serving intention of purchasing department will be strengthened and ability of self-improving of purchasers will be boosted up. Furthermore, the direction of future study is indicated at the end.
