Since the Reform and Opening-up, with the rapid progress of economy in rural areas, the advancement of agricultural production technology and the improvement of farmers'living standards, the environment in rural areas has been faced with unprecedented challenges. Solid wastes pollution in rural areas, in particular, has become more serious, which has not only severely affected the sustainable development of agriculture but also has threatened the health and well-being of rural residents. However, due to the long-term restraint of urban-rural dual structure, China's environmental law focuses on city and industry and attaches little importance to environmental protection in rural areas. Our country has enacted some laws and regulations concerning sold wastes pollution in rural areas, but it has remained much to be desired, such as gaps in the existing legislations, the lack of system, the poor operability and so on,Not meet the current increasing number of increasingly complex structure of rural solid waste pollution prevention needs. Therefore, in building rural solid waste pollution prevention law system, improve the rural solid waste pollution prevention and the comprehensive utilization of relevant legislation and the need for more realistic.This paper starts with the concept of solid wastes in rural areas and comprehensively analyzes the type, hazards and cause of the solid wastes pollution in rural areas. Based on this, this paper systematically analyzes and evaluates the existing legislations about the solid wastes pollution in other countries.
