| Roller is widely used in coal mines, granaries, mining and other delivery conditions of powder and pellets. It is widely distributed and of large amount in a belt conveyor. The structure of roller is comparatively simple. It contains many components, such as roll, bearing block, bearing, sealer, grease and axis, and so on. Because of the poor work conditions and the design of mechanical structure, the traditional roller has some problems such as susceptible to corrosion, high weight, not wear resisting, etc. Therefore, it is significant to develop a roller with reliable sealing structure and long application life.To overcome these shortcomings above, the theoretical design a kind of PA roller with new sealing structure. With reference to the<GB/T 10595-2009 Belt Conveyor>, which is published on April 2,2009 and carried out on November 1,2009, a testing machine is designed in this thesis to test the performance of roller; Analysis and calculate on two kinds of roller by ANSYS; Besides, this thesis test the performance of roller by testing machine.The thesis designs two kinds of sealing structure of roller. The title tests the starting power, running resistance, wear and tear rate of PA and metallic roller. The results show that:The new type of PA roller is better than traditional metal roller with its smaller starting power, lower running resistance and running resistance, and reliable sealing structure. The finite element analysis and calculation show that the mechanical performance of PA roller has been largely improved and enhanced.In short, by simulated calculation and practical experiment, the thesis optimizes a perfect roller which is suit for belt conveyor installed underground. It basically meet the requirements of power saving, reliability, sealing efficiency, longevity, etc. |
