Crease memory finishing of denim fabric as a finishing process, is more popular in recent years, and has drawn more and more attention and the crease memory resin finishing is the one of them. Much research work has been done on normal finishing fabric, while the effect of the crease memory resin finishing was studied rarely. And most of existing processes are experience processes, so the research is useful in practice and the aspect of theory.Compared with the normal fabric, the denim fabric is high gream weight and the dyes of denim fabric are different. For this reason, the finishing process can exist be greatly differences. In order to confirm the essential process, the Influences of catalyst kinds, concentration of catalyst, concentration of resin, baking temperature and baking time on physical indexes of treated denim fabric were discussed.According to the experiments program designed by the central lab, the following research analyzed and the significance of the influential factors by minitab software. The result showed that catalyst kinds, baking temperature and baking time are the important and the concentration of resin is not important. The optmium process were concentration of magnesium chloride 38.66 g/L, concentration of resin102.37 g/L, baking temperature 111℃and baking time 10.5 minutes; concentration of citric acid 6.12 g/L, concentration of resin 149.22 g/L, baking temperature 135℃and baking time 19.2 minutes; concentration of composite catalyst 20.61 g/L, concentration of resin143.08 g/L, baking temperature 129.4℃and baking time 18.0 minutes.
