Triple effect evaporation method is used to recovery the solvent in oil, wax and foots oil in Ketone- Benzol Dewaxing & Deoiling Unit in Shanghai Gaoqiao Petrochemical Company Limited of SINOPEC. The energy consumption of solvent recovery system is almost 60% of this unit. There are two kinds of steam in solvent recovery system. One is the 1.1 MPa steam which is used for preheater and heater the oil, wax and foots oil. The other is 0.8MPa steam from pipe network which is used for stripper steam in the oil, wax and foots oil stripper tower. So that investigateing and optimizing of the stream energy is very important and significant for energysaving in Ketone-Benzol Dewaxing & Deoiling Unit.Through set up container drum in condensate pipe, the first type of the steam is optimized.Using Aspen Plus, the second type of steam is simulated and optimizated yet.Design the container drum not only stablilize the pipeline operation status, but also can save 1.1 MPa steam flow 1774.23 kg/h which is equal to 119.96 kg/h standard oil.Using Aspen plus to simulate and optimization, the sensitivity analysis is concerned that the pressure, temperature and flow rate are waried with the yield of product and the flow rate of ketone. The conclusion is that about 892kg/h steam flow, up to 57.088 kg/h standard oil, is saved when reduce 0.8 MPa steam flow in the oil, wax and foots oil stripper tower.
