Study Of Suitability On Treatment And Utilization Of Rural Solid Waste In Typical Rural Aera Of Chengdu

The key of rural solid waste(RSW) treatment is to accurate control production rates and characteristics of RSW,but the researches work on investigation and treatment of RSW is rare in the two different typical areas of plain and hilly.This paper investigates and laboratory analyzes production rates and characteristics of RSW,and evaluates RSW treatment modes with Fuzzy Comprehensive Judegment in the two typical rural areas of Chengdu,then,make out different RSW treatment modes to provide a reference for RSW disposal and utilization.The results showed that the production rates of RSW in the plain of WanChun Town and hilly areas of WanXing Town were0.34kg/d per capita and0.194kg/d per capita respectively,which was mainly composed of kitchen garbage, accounting for39.34%and82.49%of the total RSW by weight respectively,the characteristics such as moisture content, biodegradability and calorific value of solid waste also varied, the main factors are topography and economic level,living habits,etc. The RSW characteristics in the plain and hilly of the two different terrain typical rural areas were waried.With adoption of Fuzzy Comprehensive Judegment to four sehemes in quantitativ e and qualitative analysis,the results showed that for appropriate treatment mode in W anChun Town were as followes:"recycling+incineration",landfill,integrated treatment an d "recycling+composting", for appropriate treatment mode in WanXing Town were as followes:"recycling+composting", landfill,integrated treatment and "recycling+incinerati on". It indicated that the waste characteristics,topography,economic level and living habi ts,etc. will affect the choice of RSW treatment and utilization. The RSW treat modes a re varied in different terrain rural, RSW treat mode in plain is adaptable but compost ing is the best treat mode in hilly.Concrete schemes of RSW treatment and utilization are different from Municipal solid waste,which emphasis on "treatment in situ and source reducing"of reject,lime-so li and kitchen garbage according to local characteristics,it will produce good environm ental,economic,and social benefits.The paper for the RSW disposal and utilization in r ural areas of Chengdu to provide the decision-making ideas and references,as well as other parts of the country's RSW disposal provide experience.
