The Research On The Restoration Of The Landscape Of The City Waste Landifill

The process of urbanization is becoming more and more intensified in modernsociety, such as the constant adjustment of the industrial structure; the continuousexpansion of the urban area; the progressive increase of the urban-rural combinationarea; the rapid growth of urban population and so on. These phenomenons bring theeconomic development at a very fast speed, as well as the large number of discardedand unused land in the city. Although there are advantages and disadvantages in theprocess of urbanization, but indeed the generation of waste land is unavoidable. It is notonly impacts the landscape environment, but also damages the ecological balance in thecity. The indirect waste of the resources and energy is an invisible limit to the futuredevelopment of the city. The word "urban waste land" still has no clear concept toregulate, however, there are already many similar concepts and names existence in theinternational scholar, for instance, the waste scene, the abandoned landscape, thedegradation landscape etc.Nowadays, under the guidance of the sustainable development view, how totransform the urban waste land through landscape and ecological ways is significantmeaningful in the development of the city, so that we can change the negative effect intopositive influence, make the waste profitable.The first half part of the thesis analyses the status of the urban wasteland landscapetransformation home and abroad, points out the problems in using and transformingwasteland. The aim is to promote the purpose and significance of the research projectbased on the appearance of the problems, under the guidance of domestic and foreignresearch. The second half of the paper presents several award-winning ecologicallandscape restoration cases in China and foreign countries that recommended by ASLA,and summarizes and induces the methods of the landscape design of the abandonedlandfills.Based on that city abandoned landfills is one of the main waste landfill and themost necessary one to reconstruct and reuse. Through the combination of theories andpractice, after we promote and guide, we can get the key point of using the wastelandfills, and it also contributes to the restoration of waste landscapes and thecontinuous development of a city.
